INFLUENCERS ARE THE NEW OPINION LEADERS

Bulgarian consumers are among the most active social media users. They use social networks as their main source of information, according to Reuters’ annual report on the development of digital news. For 40% of respondents social networks are source for searching and finding information. The trend is clear – when it comes to finding information, users still prefer to have a mediator, rather than use the media directly. The results are relevant for 65% of young respondents.

The need to be informed, to know, is permanent. It will not disappear with the loss of the influence of traditional media. However, opinion leaders are already online, and social networks have ended the television monopoly. We get all kinds of information from the most shared and influential internet users in our surrounding – politics, sports, art, fashion, family relationships.
